Motorcycle Restoration Pros is a retirement project that was started in 2010. MRP consists of two old guys, Short Block Charlie and Charlie Rossell, who have been in the motorcycle industry for over 45 years and were certified mechanics. Our goal here at MRP is to share our many years of knowledge and experience with our customers and to keep ourselves sharp. Just think, we were around these bikes when they were first introduced on the market, and we spent many years assembling and servicing these motorcycles. For us it is fun to be able to travel back in time and replay the great memories we have with these motorcycles and all the amazing people who owned them.

At MRP we plan on restoring only a limited number of motorcycles per year. Our current limit is 4 bikes for each of us (8 total) per year. We really want to work with all metric and english motorcycles. If you decide to have us restore a motorcycle for you, we have detailed information sheets that we will need you to complete (available for download on this website). We will review your information and come up with a detailed game plan on restoring your machine. One thing we want to stress is we want the customer to be involved in their build. These builds can be difficult, but if our customer is involved it helps us understand exactly what our customer is looking for from their motorcycle.

We offer many services at MRP, including complete-from-the-ground-up to partial restorations. We have a state-of-the-art machine shop which includes both manual and CNC machinery. We rebuild engines completely in-house, which includes cylinder boring, numerous cylinder head services, crankshaft services, and transmission repair.
